Last year I decided to take my personal "cruise" through
the waters of Moscow. I wanted to feel like a tourist, refresh
a blurred vision, find a lost connection to the city and a new perception of a familiar space. From the water you can see how industrial areas and busy embankments, new buildings
and beaches merge seamlessly. Cut through by the surface
of the water, they are connected like layers of a pie, revealing the interior of areas I knew only from highways, through
the outer dusty crust. The view from the water breaks up
the familiar and odious structure of the city. As it refuses, a new map of the area gradually emerges. Here in the middle
is the river, a source of calm and coolness, and city life flows somewhere in the depths of the banks.
